The Amsterdam Immersive Alliance (AIA) is here to stimulate the creation of meaningful cultural, social and economic impact of Immersive Experiences by connecting technology, creativity and public life. By strengthening the Dutch IX ecosystem, AIA aims to make immersive media an accessible and responsible part of how we learn, create, work and engage with society.
AIA works towards an open infrastructure that unites technology, knowledge creation, talent development and access to funding. By aligning these four pillars across education, research and practice, we enable creators, researchers and innovators to collaborate effectively, develop new ideas, grow future talent and realise sustainable immersive projects.
The Amsterdam Immersive Alliance (AIA) is a collaborative initiative within the Centre of Expertise for Creative Innovation (CoECI), bringing together CoECI partners such as the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the Amsterdam University of the Arts, Inholland University of Applied Sciences and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie. AIA actively invites players in the immersive (IX) field to join its network, participate in meet-ups and gatherings, explore potential consortia and share knowledge, so that education, research and practice can jointly advance new immersive experiences.
