Immersive Room

The Immersive Room at Inholland Amsterdam enables students to experience realistic professional scenarios in an immersive learning environment. After three years, it has become an established facility used across a wide range of programmes.

Beyond its educational role, the Immersive Room serves as a living lab for innovation. Students can safely practise complex or high-risk situations, such as a reanimation or simulated drug lab, while researchers and educators explore the impact of immersive technologies on learning. Insights and best practices are actively shared with the wider education community through networks such as SURF and Npuls.
